Job Description

We are expecting to expand our team in 2021 by adding a Regional Manager in the DC/MD/VA region, leading a team of highly skilled IT infrastructure engineers. In this newly created role, you will own P&L forthe region’s client base of public sector and commercial clients.You will have responsibilities and need to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Sales Support & Contracting

  • Supporting the region’s sales efforts from strategy to proposal and through client selection/decision, in partnership with Sales

  • Identify and raise opportunities to grow existing accounts through client engagements within the region

  • Direct responsibility for LOE development/review and creation/review/negotiation of delivery SOWs as well as Change Orders

  • Staffing & Utilization, includingdetermination and tracking of staff assignments, collaborating across regions as necessary

  • Recruiting & Demand Management

  • Identify staffing needs within the region and support the associated recruiting effort

  • Determine when to hire to maintain low overhead against regional revenue targets

  • Submit proposal for hiring requirement to VP of Operations

  • Services Revenue Forecasting & P&L management

  • Monitorand preserve ongoing forward visibility of projected services revenue and preserve accuracy in delivery/staff forecasting

  • Track and deliver against the associated regional P&L, both with respect to revenue and margin/profit.

  • Client Engagement Management

  • Provide successful delivery of client engagements (quality, budget, schedule), in an efficient manner (reuse), maintaining the integrity of delivery

  • Maintain high client satisfaction for engagements delivered within the region

  • Ensure engagements within the region are delivered withinPMO guidelines

  • Able to develop trusted client relationships and handle escalated situations with client leadership, to the benefit of both the client and the company

  • People Management

  • Work with your Team Leads to provide career and professional growth guidance

  • Maintain processes within the region that have been established company wide

  • Support individual and group accountability, along with fostering an environment in which employees feel connected to each other and the company

  • Maintain visibility of company goals and regional goals across the region

Qualifications

What do you need to succeed?

  • 4-year college degree in an IT or business field germane to the role, or equivalent in experience

  • 10 or more years’ experience successfully and profitably leading a highly technical IT Services Organizations of at least 25 people and at least $5M in revenue

  • At least 5 years’ experience with current senior technical abilities in one or more of the following fields:

    • Network Engineering

    • Security

    • Compliance (for an IT perspective)

    • Network Automation / Virtualization / Cloud

    • Unified Communications / Collaboration

    • Strong presentation, verbal and communication skills, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and financial/HR management systems

    • Demonstrates solid motivational and leadership skills

    • Maintains a professional, composed, andconfident outgoing demeanor

    • Experience leading teams in public sector and/or commercial IT consultancy client environments with a preference for both

    • The ability to multitask on a daily basis, balancing priorities and recognizing some aspects of this role will require regular engagement outside of normal business hours

    • Experience leading managed services delivery/teams also a strong plus
