Control Manager

Job Description

Our building automation client is adding a Controls Manager to its talented team. This is a great opportunity to move into a leadership role within the Digital Controls space.

Overview:

• Support existing sales group with onsite system and controls recommendations for small projects
• Assist with documentation for sales proposals for existing building projects
• Program and checkout small control projects as required
• Coordinate with electrical subcontractors to ensure proper project completion
• Support existing Service customers with their controls needs
• Provide technical support for service technicians and customers
• P&L responsibility of the department
• Leadership of staff including recruiting, management, and coaching

Requirements:

• Associates Degree, Diploma or certificate from a two-year community college or technical school or 5-7 years of equivalent experience in BAS controls systems
• Tridium Systems, Delta Contols, and Trane System programming considered an asset
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office products
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos
• Writing, mathematical, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems
