Job Summary

Anderson Communities is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing Resident Services team. Our goal is Building Better Communities. We can achieve our vision with you, by delivering great resident experiences every day through a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades. This is a full-time position with a great benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure reliable home functionality through preventative maintenance, repair and replacement of assets, equipment and buildings

Deliver great resident experiences by performing a variety of skills including plumbing, light electrical, HVAC and appliance repair

Reasonable On-call rotation

Requirements and Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Troubleshooting and repair experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and/or residential appliances

Focus and attention to great customer service

Must have good communication and time management skills

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally

Valid driver’s license

Knowledgeable of OSHA

Successfully complete a pre-employment reference check, background check and drug screen

Preferred:

o Trade School Certificate in related fields or College degree a plus

o EPA Certification a plus

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The job operates both indoors and outdoors in residential settings. This role routinely requires some physical labor with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Full-time position at 40 hours per week.

Normal work schedule is Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST plus an on-call rotation.
