Position requires hands-on design as well as leadership of design team in a fast-paced Creative Studio environment. Consults and collaborates with decision makers and internal clients to determine appropriate design criteria for communications assignments for print and digital formats. Ensures that all materials developed are in compliance and according to corporate branding guidelines. Leads and participates as a consultant/contributor on enterprise-wide assignments with a visual design component to achieve excellence and consistency on all initiatives that include a visual design element. Provides input into the design work of all communication designers. Develops effective systems to manage visual assets and archive projects for multiple brands. Provides design oversight for materials produced in document automation tools.Qualifications A Design degree and 10 years art direction experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Managed care experience a plus. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Strong technical understanding of Macintosh environment and design programs.
