Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asset Improvement Coordinator to join the Asset Development team in Coke Plant 2.

Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, you will be working with a team of equipment specialists and team leaders, to develop, manage & maintain maintenance strategies for Process Control and Instrumentation equipment.

You will focus on providing technical support for PLC’s, Data Networks, Drives and other technical equipment in the plant. Using root cause analysis, you will analyse plant and equipment performance data and ensure recurring problems have effective solutions.

This role will also require you to:

  • Coordinate maintenance activities for technical equipment;
  • Complete maintenance tasks;
  • Fault find on PLC, Drives, HMI, Instrumentation systems;
  • Produce maintenance plans to deliver maintenance strategies; and
  • Deliver continuous improvement outcomes.

What are we looking for?

You will hold Electrical Diploma qualificationsas well as have a current NSW Electrical License. You will also have:

  • Experience in a maintenance role within heavy industry;
  • Strong fault-finding skills;
  • Experience with technical equipment (PLC, Drives, HMI);
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skill; and
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
