Providence is calling a Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to the Outpatient Infusion Services at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.

The Nursing Assistant Certified is responsible for performing and documenting, as appropriate, specific patient care delivery at the direction and under the supervision of an RN or LPN.

In this position you will :

Assists RN or LPN in physical care of patients.

Delivers patient care in a safe and expedient manner.

Verifies, checks, and records clinic patient’s vital signs.

Demonstrates knowledge of normals relating to vital signs.

Maintains Communication and Coordination.

Communicates issues and concerns pertinent to the daily function of the department to the designated charge nurse or nurse manager.

Participates in the coordination and facilitation of care for the patient.

Provides each patient a safe, comfortable and private environment.

Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for practice, continued growth, and self evaluation.

Qualifications :

Required qualifications for this position include :

Successful completion of a Washington State approved Nursing Assistant Certification Course.

Current Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Washington with annual renewal.

Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification required upon hire.

One (1) year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant in a patient care setting.

Preferred qualifications for this position include :

H.S. Diploma or GED
