Research Director, Inc. is a media consulting firm in Annapolis MD, founded in 1991, with over 100 of America’s leading radio stations in its portfolio of clients. We counsel stations’ programming and sales teams to grow their ratings and revenue.

About the job:

We currently have a part-time proofreader position available. The job involves proofing data entry, blogs, ratings summaries, and data-intensive client presentations. The hours will fluctuate throughout the year based on project cycles. It will average around 10 hours per week, but some weeks may be only a few hours and other weeks may be more like 25 hours. A schedule of our busiest times will be provided. All work will be within 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays. Training on industry and company-specific terminology, data, and procedures will be provided. Compensation will be based on experience.

About our ideal candidate:

-Superior attention to detail.

-Strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.

-Organized.

-Reliable.

-Computer-savvy.

-Background in English, publishing, or editing.

-Comfortable with tight deadlines.

-May work on site in Annapolis or remotely. Remote work will require dual monitors, a printer, and a color scanner.
