Job Description

Nielsen Connect is building a talent pipeline to meet future hiring demand. This is a pipeline role, while there is not an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective candidates like you. ABOUT THIS JOB

  1. Leading the day to day management of one of Nielsen’s key clients - acting as the key point of contact, you will be accountable for forging and harnessing this relationship, enabling both the client and Nielsen to realise joint strategic objectives and outcomes;

  2. Working within a team of talented individuals that act as Nielsen’s front-line of query resolution, you will compile, analyse, and interpret key sales and consumer panel data in response to the varied needs of a repertoire of clients;

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Earning client trust and building relationships by delivering accurate and meaningful analysis and reports in a timely manner, and according to client expectations
  • Understanding the client business need and applying appropriate solutions
  • Analysing information and developing, as well as contributing to presentations with other team members
  • Assume responsibility for query resolution for a variety of Nielsen clients, delivering a high quality service via the provision of accurate and timely data, on each occasion
  • Lead internal projects where required
  • Use internal tools and data sources

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree holder in any relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience working in data analytics in an FMCG or retail environment
  • Experience analysing Pharmacy sales data, with a deep understanding of the mechanics of this industry
  • Fluent in Scan and Consumer Panel data interpretation
  • Passion for data visualisation, strong attention to detail, proactive in looking for efficiencies to drive productivity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, numerate and analytical
  • Highly organised, with the ability to own and prioritise a variety of tasks and projects, working within strict timeframes
  • A problem solver and someone who is willing to take on feedback
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage complex and diverse stakeholders
