compensation: $13.50 per hour, 40 hours a week

1-week vacation after 1 year and $250/month employer contribution toward health insurance after 90 days.

We are a solar company in Michigan looking for a full time person as a Service Department Coordinator. Our office is located in Riverdale - 15 minutes West of Alma on M-46. This is a 40 hour a week position, Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.

Michigan Solar Solutions sells, installs and services solar arrays in Michigan. We have a service department that monitors all of our customers via the internet. We need a well organized person dedicated to the monitoring of our customers, troubleshooting problems that arise, and calling technical support and if necessary creating a ticket to dispatch our service techs. This is an extremely busy position and will require you to coordinate multiple issues at any given time.

Customer service experience is mandatory. You must be comfortable talking to customers and technicians on the phone and using a computer. Empathy is a highly desired trait. Computer skills are necessary.

You should have the aptitude for technical "stuff" and the ability to walk others through troubleshooting. Preferably we are looking for someone with solar knowledge but are willing to train the right motivated person. Understanding how to effectively communicate over the phone, via text and email is paramount.

Taking initiative and coming up with ideas on how to benefit MSS effectively and efficiently is a highly desired trait. We need a leader that can learn as well as lead.
