Power Sports Technician

Helena Cycle Center is hiring a Full Time Technician to join our Team!

Position is Full Time 40 hours per week; Tuesday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8 am to 5 pm. Hourly pay DOE with full benefit package that includes: medical, dental, vision, prescription, employer matched 401k up to 3%, paid time off and more!

Position is in a high paced environment, looking for self-motivated individual that wants to work in a fun power-sports environment.

Technician Job Description:

Position receives directives from the Service Writer and is required to be self-sufficient. Service Writer requested work is completed in a safe, professional, efficient and timely manner. Must be able to safely operate all machines put together by Helena Cycle Center. Understanding of all mechanizes of an off road vehicle, motorcycle and power sport unit preferred. Candidate must conduct themselves in the presence of customers in a manner that promotes a positive, professional image.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

2+ years experience in mechanics field required, ability to perform all tasks without supervision. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions as well as procedure manuals. Effective communication with other technicians, customers and service writer both verbally and in writing. Computer literate along with ability to use various types of diagnostic equipment. Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 80 lbs. of material. Frequently requires the ability to balance and push an 800 lb. ATV, Motorcycle, UTV, Snowmobile or equivalent power equipment. Required to have personal mechanical tools.
