Maintenance Director

Well established property management company is now seeking a full time Maintenance Director.

Overview:

Football is back and guess what? We need ourselves a quarterback! As Maintenance Director, you will lead the team responsible for repair and upkeep of multiple properties throughout Missoula. You will be calling all the plays in the huddle and are responsible for setting the overall goals, strategies, and objectives. These instructions are not only for the entire department but also for individual team members. You will oversee, direct, and lead the work of supervisors and coordinators to help them set the direction for their team.

Responsibilities:

Sets overall maintenance department goals, processes, or procedures to accomplish company objectives

Ensures all health, safety, and regulations are followed

Creates a preventive maintenance system as well as procedures to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly

Oversees, motivates, and reviews maintenance supervisors including management of training and professional development

Requirements:

Has a big-picture mentality that can create a vision and mission for a maintenance team

Delegates tasks and responsibilities to maintenance supervisors in an effective, positive, and efficient manner

Understands and follows OSHA guidelines and other regulations

Exhibits problem solving and team building skills with you to make the process of finding a job easier.

Experience with electrical, plumbing, sheet rock, painting, framing and groundskeeping

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Details:

Generally, your schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30pm-5:00pm. Weekend ‘on-call’ is possible.

Starting wages at $25.00 per hour and up, depending on experience.
