Long Island’s Leading Point of Sale Company, for 42 years, looking to Immediately fill a FULL TIME experienced assistant, needed to perform various accounting tasks as well as client service, answer phones and support staff functions. Candidate must have good command of English language both written and verbally, organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work both independently and as a team.
Location: Holbrook, NY
Hours: Monday-Friday; 9am-5:30pm
Pay: $17/Hr - $22/Hr, Based on Experience

Duties and Responsibilities:
Answers phones and greets visitors
Answering customer questions, providing information, and transferring calls to our support team
Managing office inventory and working with vendors to ensure the regular supply of office materials
Assists the Office Manager with administrative needs, as necessary
Handle support contract renewals and billing
Ordering of customer consumables ( Gift cards, printer ribbons, receipt paper rolls)
Collate and distribute mail
Manage accounts and perform light bookkeeping
Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
Audit company spending and matching receipts.
Enthusiastic attitude is a must. Must be a team player and be open to collaboration.
