Job Description

The Team Leader is responsible for achieving specific sales targets in line with the area deliverables. The individual will be responsible for motivating, training and supporting store staff within the designated area. Store merchandising according to planograms, data collection, market research and stock control, are some of the important functions that form part of this role. . T

Activities include, but are not limited to, Plan and execute marketing campaigns to generate sales/TNPS and improve customer, Retention for the client and Implement marketing strategies to increase product awareness, sales/TNPS and profits.

They will also Obtainspecific information about the clients' needs regarding business expansion, problems affecting their sales, detailed information on products and services offered by them, specific business practices like discount offers, seasonal sales, etc., previous advertising history, and other business practices followed

The successful candidate should have a passion for marketing, ability to strike a chord with people, and understand the customers' needs. He/she should have great business acumen, be target oriented and should be able to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or NQF equivalent

2 years’ experience in a sales role with a track record of exceeding revenuesales targets within the telecommunication/retail sector

1 years’ experience in field services, retail sales or similar role may bebeneficial

Additional Information

• Must have a vehicle less than 7 years’ old registered in your name
• Car tracker or similar installed (must be able to provide driver behaviour reports monthly)
• Proof of business insurance (with 30-day car hire option)
• Valid Driver’s license
• Bluetooth device
• Ability to work on weekends or holidays when necessary
• Will be required to work in the informal sector
• A roadworthy certificate must be supplied for vehicles older than 7 years’ old
