Job Description
The accounts payable clerk for PetWell Partners will report to and work directly with the Accounts Payable Supervisor. The primary functions of this role will be to process weekly accounts payable, including entering invoices and credits; enter general ledger entries; distribute weekly payable reports for executive management; other monthly accounting functions, as assigned; and other projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:The ideal candidate will possess the following skills or attributes:
- A positive attitude
- 10+ years of accounts payable experience required
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic understanding of intercompany transactions
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
- A clear understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with Excel
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct a plus, or willingness and ability to quickly learn the accounting software
- Self-starter
- Ability to work with and communicate with multiple locations/points of contact
- Ability to work in a non-traditional office environment
- Advanced 10-key and typing skills
