Machine Operator

VOLT is now seeking those with a mechanical aptitude who love being around heavy equipment in an indoor manufacturing setting. Machine operators understand the importance of the product they create, inspect, and how they fit into the overall success of the company. As a machine operator, your responsibility is to keep a keen eye to ensure product is being produced correctly; maintain a safe and neat work area by cleaning debris; utilize both hand and power tools and return to their designated spots, You will also recognize any defects in quality or machine operation and call on maintenance personnel to assist. Requirements of this position are: High school diploma (or equivalent)Knowledge of hand/power tools and mechanical aptitudeTime management skillsStrong work ethicThis position is a standing/bending/lifting position that requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
