General Labor on a Power Line Crew

We are a power line contractor that is looking for reliable, strong and ambitious individuals to do general labor on our crews. The work can be shoveling, operating air tampers, assisting lineman assembling structures, helping load materials and other general labor tasks. This is full time employment. You can expect 50 to 60 hours per week (overtime over 40 hours per week). The job does have opportunities for advancement. We have had personnel start out at the bottom and earn their Journeyman Lineman’s Certificate through our four year program. Entry into our Linemen’s program is merit base. It is not offered to everyone, but if you are a good reliable worker, learn quickly, and are willing to get a CDL driver’s license, you are what we are looking for. You should have a current driver’s license and you must be able to pass an observed drug test. Currently we are working in the McAlester, OK area. Lodging is provided it needed.
