Work location: Any Anthem or IngenioRx office Responsible for the development of products in both new and existing markets. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

- Evaluate existing products, and competitor/industry data to improve existing products and make recommendations for new products with a focus on clinical or benefit related offerings.

- Utilize clinical expertise to provide input on strategy and build credibility with other clinical and benefit teams within IngenioRx.

- Develop and implement long term profitability strategies for market segment including market positioning, new product design pricing parameters, and legislative/regulatory responses.

- Utilize project management skills to coordinate presentations, communications and implementation of all phases of product development including: business case development, clinical viability, benefit design, legal/regulatory review, financial analysis, funding, vendor intake, contracting, end user reporting development, marketing, product positioning, go to market strategy.

- Serve as a clinical consultant within the product development organization including literature based research.

- Be a clinical product representative within at required clinical committees.

- Leverage utilization management strategies such as quantity limits, prior authorization, step therapy, and variable member cost shares to drive member or plan savings.Qualifications Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 4-6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. PharmD or Pharmacist with active license strongly preferred.

Managed Care residency preferred.

Medicare D subject matter expertise preferred.

Mastery of MS Excel and PowerPoint to leverage in supporting critical thinking, business decision-making, communication and collaboration cross-functionally and externally, when appropriate is required.
