SUMMARY
Fully capable of installing multiple coach electrical systems and subsystems. Capable of answering questions and solving problems using Marathon spec books and electrical network.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Installs electrical systems and componetry with consistent accuracy and acceptable quality.
Reads drawings, schematics, and other technical information regarding the coach or shell electrical systems.
Understands basic concepts of Marathon's TechLink control system.
Strives through performance and experience to become fully proficient in the installation of multiple coach electrical systems and subsystems to completion of the electrical build process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands or fingers to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to high or precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
