Qualifications:

Master’s degree

Licensed in the State of Oregon

Certificate Of Clinical Competence

Two years experience working in pediatrics or training that includes a pediatric affiliation. Early intervention or

working a caseload in pediatric population is preferred in addition to an understanding of

family involvement in therapy

Experience supervising speech/language pathology assistants

About the Role:

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Creating Pathways Pediatric Therapy team. We are a highly skilled, dedicated, collaborative and innovative multidisciplinary team (speech/language therapy, occupational therapy) serving a diverse pediatric patient population. This position provides evaluative, therapeutic and consultative services to children who have delays or disorders in language, cognitive, social, emotional, and speech abilities.

We serve children in our clinic with parents present for home program development. We support professional development, financially and with time, and are committed to our staff to reaching their full potential.

You’ll work alongside a team of people with decades of experience and have opportunities to pursue your special interests, share your knowledge, and receive reflective supervision. Who we are:

Creating Pathways Pediatric Therapy was founded in 2013 by two pediatric therapists who saw a need for speech/language and occupational therapy services in the Salem/Keizer area. Creating Pathways serves up to 50 children and their families daily providing home program for generalization of skills into the community and beyond. We work with children of all abilities! We have two clinics. One in Salem and one in Silverton. This position in for both locations and will be a hybrid of teletherapy and in person sessions.
