Accounting Manager/Supervisor

DescriptionWe're looking for practical Accounting Manager candidates with a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures. This is a position where employees feel appreciated in their day-to-day work and are rewarded for their efforts. You will succeed in this Accounting Manager position if you can take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Located in the Greeley, Colorado area, this Accounting Manager position would be on a full-time basis. Apply today with Robert Half Finance!Your responsibilitiesEnsure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

Prepare financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

Work alongside operational accounting to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts and report directly to the leadership team

RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

CPA or MBA preferred

Reliable technology and analytical abilities

Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively

Strong familiarity with financial reconciliation

Foundational knowledge in Intercompany Transaction

Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel

QuickBooks experience highly desired

Month-end Financial experience required

Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings

Recent relevant financial experience

Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers
