Truck Loader- Night Shift

Position Summary:

Warren Brothers Sash & Door Company is growing. We are looking for a responsible truck loader to work our night shift loading millwork material at our warehouse. We mostly stock windows, doors, moldings, and other building supplies. This position reports to the Night Shipping Manager.

Who We Are Looking For:

Candidate offered job will be required to pass drug test and pre-employment physical

Reliable and dependable show up to work on time and ready to start the shift

Lumber yard, construction, building material experience a plus

Be able to read and understand verbal and written instructions and responsibly follow those instructions

Communicate effectively to co-workers and management about all functions of the job

What You Will Do:

Verify product being loaded is correct and complete as shipping documents state.

Report any discrepancies, damage, or other issues with loading.

Maintain warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.

Must make safety a top priority and always be aware of hazards in your work environment.

Attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Essential Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects to load onto a truck; may be required to lift 50-100 pounds or more with a helper

Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching

Must have good visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision

The employee will be required to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

The candidate may be exposed to modest amounts of dust, fumes, noise, and vibrations

Must be available to work Sunday through Thursday nights 6pm until 3am or later
