Mechanical/Hvac Pipe fitter/Welder

We are a highly regarded mechanical contractor, successfully completing construction projects and mechanical services for the federal government throughout the United States. We currently under contract to complete an HVAC project at the Big Spring VA Hospital in Big Spring, Texas. As a result, we are seeking qualified Pipefitters to join our team. Responsibilities and Duties

Layout and installation of copper and steel piping systems for Hydronic HVAC equipment.

Experience in soldering copper pipe.

Experience with different pipe connections Victaulic, Thread, Flanges etc.

Experience with installing Sheetmetal duct and brazing refrigerant piping is a plus.

Experience Certified Welder is a plus.

Qualifications and Skills

Journeyman level trade experience with 5+ years trade experience.

Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and written.

Ability to read construction plans and specifications.

Provide hand tools relevant to your trade.

Clean criminal and driving record with a current valid driver's license.

Drug Free - company performs routine drug tests and candidates must pass a drug test and fit-for-duty physical as a condition of their employment.

Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
