DELI CLERK

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Attend and respond to customer requests and questions.

· Prepare a wide variety of foodservice products, including cooking, frying, packaging, and labeling.

· Re-packaging items after preparing and displaying.

· Receive, store, and stock deliveries.

· Breakdown, wash, sanitize, and reassemble equipment and utensils on a daily basis.

· Accurately and frequently log product temperatures and dates, as required.

· Practice constant rotation and quality checks on product.

· Maintain a clean, safe, sanitized and organized workspace and sales area.

· Operate a cash register and accurately transact sales with our customers.

· Adhere to all federal, state and local regulations and company policies.

· Perform other related duties as directed by the Deli Manager of Store Director.

Qualifications:

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Must be courteous and polite to the customers and fellow team members. Should possess excellent communication skills.

· Must exercise proper appearance and hygiene practices.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule. May be required to work early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Should have basic math skills.

· May be required to lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights of up to 60 pounds.
