Primary Role: Work in a fast paced environment. Greets and receives callers or visitors. Performs a variety of clerical duties under direct supervision, receive specific instructions on new or unfamiliar tasks, and have exposure to confidential information.
Typical duties include:
-Preparing related documents for funeral arrangements
-Answering multi-line phones
-Processes payments
-Filing, responding to inquiries, and various administrative functions
-Assists management and all staff with daily documentation and operations
-Assists with memorial preparation and service materials
-Any additional duties management deems necessary for the business operation
Customer Service:
-Communicates client family’s needs promptly and accurately
-Conveys a sense of concern and empathy with client family members at all times
-Demonstrates a caring, calm attitude when problems arise
-bilingual – Spanish speaking a plus
-Flexible schedule to work Weekends/Holidays when needed
-Must be able to operate office equipment and computers with accurate results
-Self-motivated with great personality and customer service skills
-Good communication skills, must be able to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
