Cider Press Deli & Grill is a family-owned restaurant in Inwood, WV led by Chef Larry Messenger. We take pride in creating a flavorful dining experience with a rustic & casual atmosphere. We offer amazing housemade specialties including sandwiches, salads, soups, panini's, local hand-pattied burgers, Black Dog coffee, heavenly desserts & so much more!

Job responsibilities include:

Guiding guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages and ingredients.

Taking accurate orders in POS system and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations.

Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return. Dealing with complaints and problems with a positive and patient attitude.

Completes assigned side work in a timely manner. Sets up and cleans assigned section per standards. Completes assigned projects from management.

Comes to work in a proper, clean uniform. Maintains appropriate grooming and hygiene standards. Follows standards of conduct, and all procedures, systems, and rules communicated by management.

Comes to work on time as scheduled. Minimal absenteeism. When absent, informs management in a timely manner. Attends scheduled meetings.

Works carefully and safely. Practices food safety standards at all times. Helps others work safely by being alert to and taking action regarding safety hazards (such as spills). Uses equipment safely.

Uses company assets in the most efficient manner. Avoids/minimizes waste and breakage. Operates, cleans, and maintains equipment to minimize wear and tear and breakdowns.

Schedule is posted weekly, must have manager approval for requesting time off, pay period is weekly. Closed on Sundays. Must be able to work flexible hours. Evenings and Saturday's are necessary! Experience is preferred.
