OverviewFairview Lakes is seeking an Emergency Department Technician.Other information about this position:This is a .6 FTE on rotating day and evening shifts

8 hour shifts

Includes every other weekend and holidays

This position is located in Wyoming, MN.

Responsibilities/Job DescriptionThe Emergency Department Tech assists emergency department staff in defined procedures, completes defined procedures, and assists in patient flow, transport, comfort and keeping unit neat and orderly.To be successful, the ERT must be able to:Provide patient care

Assist in resuscitation

Document patient care activities and procedures on the nursing records

Current EMT card or ERT certification upon hire. This certification does not need to be maintained throughout employment. or

Nursing Assistant Certification upon hire. This certification does not need to be maintained throughout employment or when transferring to like Nursing Assistant, Nursing Station Tech/Assistant roles. or

LPN licensure upon hire. This licensure does not need to be maintained throughout employment.

Preferred ExperienceOne year ERT or EMT experience
