Midwest Dispatcher – Full Time

We are looking for an experienced dispatcher in trucking who can coordinate the activities of drivers to maximize productivity, while assuring prompt and effective service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Managing a lot of incoming calls and emails

Communicating with Drivers, Customers and Brokers

Data Entry

Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

Provide accurate, valid and complete information to all the drivers

Handle driver and customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution

Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

Skills

Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

Computer Skills – Excel

Fast and efficient learner

Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Job Type: Full-time

8 hour shift – 7:30-4 Monday - Friday
