Material Handler/Warehouse - Full-Time - 1st or 2nd Shift

ITU AbsorbTech is one of the largest family-owned industrial laundry service companies in the nation with 13 locations throughout the US. And we are growing rapidly!

We are looking to add a Material Handler to our team in Sun Prairie, WI (right outside Madison). The Material Handler is responsible for transferring product from service trucks to semi-trailer each day. Material handlers will also unload semi- trailers to begin the process of staging products and building loads for the route service team. This person will handle the following products: shop towels, printer towels, floor mats, uniforms, and our SorbIts® product line.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Unload drums and cages of product from service trucks and stage in dock area.

Load drums and cages onto relay trailer and secure the load.

Unload drums, totes and cages of clean product from the relay trailer.

Use forklifts, power pallet jacks and drum carts to load and unload relay trailers.

Maintain safety and equipment operation training requirements.

Stage drums and other clean product in the correct place for its route.

Maintain clean and organized dock area.

Support ITU AbsorbTech’s commitment to safety while providing support to our service team personnel.

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday

10am-6pm OR 4pm-midnight

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position- must have the ability to regularly and safely lift, push, and/or pull up-to 50lbs.

Must be able to work independently.

High school degree or Equivalent required.

1-3 years of prior warehouse work, material handling, forklift and power equipment experience preferred but not required.

A good attitude, team player, attention to detail, and a focus on safety.

Strong communication and problem solving skills, and be well organized and detail oriented.
