Regular, on time pay.

I generally say prior experience mandatory. Minimum 2 years, but the more the better. I'm not afraid to hire older carpenters, if they have the right mindset.

Note that I may be hiring one guy with less experience to help with a big custom project. Would be a laborer to start, but would be moving into a real carpenter position quickly or moving on.

I may also hire a floating laborer to the right guy, with his own truck.

Must be able to provide good references, and most of your own tools, though I am not looking to have your tools used by others.

I do have a few projects that I would consider subbing the framing on in the upcoming months. These are all in or very near Boulder.

We also are occasionally looking to sub out siding and decks to qualified, insured subs. If you are writing for this aspect or any portion for that matter, the more info you share the better.
