Production Worker

We are seeking production workers for apremier wholesale distributor and processor of fresh fruits and vegetables in the Midwest. These are temp to hire positions that offer weekly pay and benefits!

Pay -$15/hr

1st shift - Various start times - 7 am, 8 am or 11 amwith a training schedule of Thursday to Monday (days off will be adjusted after training). Start dates available as early as this week!

As a Production Associate, you’d be responsible for processing, assembling and packaging company products to corporate guidelines. Production Associates must assure products are of the highest quality, are made efficiently and for the day’s runs at an acceptable productivity level, with high quality standards.

Please note that anti-slip shoes are needed; and reliable transportation is required as the facility is not on a bus line.

Food Production Requirements:

Strong attention to detail, capable of learning and remembering product specifications.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team setting.

Reliable transportation - not on bus line

Be a team player and be willing to work close to other employees at some workstations.

Successfully pass pre-hire drug and background screens.

Ability to lift 35-50lbs.

Ability to different environment settings (cool – 35 degrees, damp, refrigerated)

Ability to stand and use hands for long periods of time.

One-year prior production preferable experience in food productions, food processing, food manufacturing or deli/commissary.
