Control Assembler Lead

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Control Assembler Lead who will assist the Supervisor of our client’s Assembly Department. In this role, the candidate will lead a team of assemblers while collaborating with other departments to achieve production goals, ensure product quality and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direction and guidance to assembly team concerning product quality and problem solving

Actively promote solutions and corrective procedures to minimize downtime

Apply assembly knowledge to adeptly interpret drawings, procedures and operations listed on Traveler documents

Ensure documentation is completed as required and employees clock their time to the appropriate job or account

Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and ensure that the supervisor is informed of all progress and problems

Monitors overall rejection rates and works to reduce them

Oversees work of assemblers to ensure that Quality is maintained and continually looks for ways to improve productivity

Participates in and initiates Continuous Improvement initiatives and Kiazen events

Promotes daily 5S and work area organization
