Currently hiring carpenters, helpers, laborers and Subs for interiors for framing company specializing in residential production wood framing. This is new construction in Viera with steady work. Our pay scale depends on your quality of work and abilities. You must have your own transportation and be reliable.

I will list what skills are expected from helpers to leads and foreman positions. If you have done some but not all of these things you are welcome to apply there is room to gain knowledge and advance. You must have some sort of experience with framing houses to start.

Carpenter Helpers:

Access to hand tools and bags.

Be able to carry plywood and/or lift 50lbs regularly

Work in the Florida heat

Know how to install redheads and lag botls.

Do Blocking, Cut Studs, Fir Out, Door Bucks

Know how to run deadwood

Help to dry in a roof

Be comfortable walking on a 6:12 pitch

Help with truss sets

Done Rat Runs

Nail Straps

Carpenters:

Everything above and

Deck a side of a roof unassisted.

Punch out unassisted.

Frame and Stand Interior Walls

Run Subfacia

Read an Engineering Print

Build Hips

Prep a Rack

Experienced Carpenters to Foreman:

Everything above and

Ride the Peak on a Truss Set (exclude foreman here, they are running job not riding peak)

Build Tray Ceilings

Build Arches

Cut in and run 2-4 guys

Plumb Walls

Some layout or layout unassisted

Build Stairs

Foreman Specific:

Have valid drivers license and insurance

Run 4-6 guys

Occasional towing of trailer

Be able to communicate clearly with superintendents, on site coordinator, crew members and office personnel)

Experience running a crew

Problem solve

Ability to lead by example
