Part-time Foodservice Delivery Driver

R&R Trading is a family owned frozen foodservice distributor located in Plant City looking to add another driver as our business grows.

Shifts will be 3 days (possibly more) as we grow with new accounts. You will range from 15-25 hours a week, possibly more. Days that we are expanding will be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This may change from week to week, so need to be flexible as each week will be different depending on customers that order for that week. No weekend or night work.

Job Duties:

-Safely operate our 24 ft. commercial refrigerated box truck with air brakes to make deliveries to multiple customers on a daily route.

-Check off orders at warehouse to make sure they are accurate before truck is loaded.

-Ability to operate a GPS device.

-Unload at each stop with a pull-out ramp at rear of the truck and use a hand-truck/dolly to wheel it into customer freezer. NO stocking required.

-Interact with Owners/Managers/Chefs to collect payment if COD is required.

-Make proper notations on invoice if there are any changes being made to invoice.

-Occasional product pick up may be required.

Qualifications required:

-Valid Driver's License

-Clear Driving Record

-Previous experience in route delivery

-Ability to lift max. 50 lbs. and use a hand-truck/dolly

-Familiarity with Central Florida area

-great customer service and friendly attitude

-Ability to take directions and adapt to route changes when needed.

We are a drug free workplace and enrolled in a random drug testing program with the state of Florida DOT
