Cook, Prep, Dishwasher FOR BUSY DELI

Looking for a multi functional worker for our location in St Lucie West, Fl. Good candidates for this position must have a background in sales and/or customer service and are great at dealing with people. One year of restaurant/hospitality experience is required for this position. ServeSafe Certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities:

The primary function of the Team Member

position is to provide an excellent experience for our customers and oversee the operations of the deli. They must work hands on in the daily operations of the deli and are responsible for customer interaction, training, directing, and coaching employees in all areas of operations. In addition they are in charge of placing vendor orders as well as inventory and cleanliness. This position is essential to our overall guest experience and the applicant is expected to meet company goals by providing clear direction and setting a positive example for attitude, professionalism, and work ethic.

The applicant is required to work at least 40 hours per week. Weekends and holidays are a must.

Some of the key duties of this position will include:

Ensuring that all procedures are completed properly.

Interacting with customers and resolving any issues.

Opening/Closing the deli

Completing required documentation as needed.

Adhering to a weekly schedule.

Achieving assigned sales goals.

Maintaining deli appearance.

Maintaining Health Department regulations.

Maintaining equipment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Driver's License, Reliable transportation, Must be age 18 or older. Ability to speak, read, and write English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as Health Department reports, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees. Attendance is an essential function of employment and you must be timely and ready to work your scheduled shifts. Must be friendly and professional. Multi-tasking is a must. Looking for someone who likes to stay productive and busy throughout the day. Experience required.

Physical Requirements:

This position will require the employee to work in a fast paced environment. Thus, while performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Use of hands and arms. Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds and transfer from one height to another. Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. Able to communicate clearly.
