Prep cook wanted

Maria's little Italy in Sycamore is looking for a prep cook!

Our small Italian restaurant believes that food brings friends and family together!

If you have a commitment to creating the best quality food for our guests and the drive to succeed we want to hear from you!

Must have proven experience for two or plus years working and performing routine kitchen tasks.

Preparing cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meats and other meal prep.

Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.

Prepare simple dishes such as salads and entrees.

Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing and sanitizing surfaces and dishes.

Take out trash as needed.

Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.

Must have organization skills, patience, communication skills, be able to pay attention to detail, ability to work under pressure.

Great attitude and be reliable.

Works well as a team.

Your own transportation.

Food handler certificate

Can stand for 8 hours and can lift at least 25 lb
