As a Kitchen Manager, you will be in charge of a $1-2 million business and oversee the development of your team, ensuring guest satisfaction and running a profitable food operation. From the hiring, managing and directing of team members to achieving financial goals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. As a Kitchen Manager, you would oversee all Back of House operations and be responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting/overseeing all Casey's Food products in a timely manner, according to established recipes, and procedures.

Our Kitchen Manager build a system of quality with team members, which ensures each delivered product meets the Casey's Store standards and accurately reflects the customer's order. He/she promptly responds to all guests concerns and issues, and solicits guests and team member feedback to improve the food service operations and build brand loyalty. He/she will actively recruit guest-focused team members, maintain adequate staffing levels according to projected sales and properly orient and train team members to exceed customer expectations. Managers will build an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun. He/she will manage company's assets by keeping the food operation clean, fully equipped and all equipment maintained.

As a Kitchen Manager, your responsibilities would include and not limit to:

Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures

In conjunction with all Management, enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness of kitchen store and safety of our guests at all times

Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times on pick up, curbside and delivery.

Managing performance of Back of House team members, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline.

Assisting with the development of all team members by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones

Conducting and overseeing that quality of food meets expectation and conducting daily Temp checks as part of overall responsibility for inventory and safety in the kitchen

Overseeing the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items

Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures

Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs

Directing work for kitchen employees, including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during and after open hours of the store

Training team members on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures

Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or making recommendation to hire kitchen/store team members

Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment for the staff in a manner consistent with our core values and operational goals
