Full Time, DaysWhen you join Southern Maine Health Care’s Newton Center, you may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full time, 40-hour positions! Positions less than 40 hours will be prorated. Per diem positions are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Current MaineHealth employees not eligible for this sign on bonus. Candidates who are previous employees must be separated from the MaineHealth system for 6 months to be eligible.

The Newton Center is Southern Maine Health Care’s 74 bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility. Located in Sanford, ME we are seeking LPN candidates to fill our current full time, part time and per diem- openings.

Schedules are typically 8-hour shifts, but there may be flexibility if you are interested in working 10 or 12-hour shifts. Come join us and enjoy a family oriented atmosphere where colleagues work as a team and you can do your best work.

Position Summary

o Under the general direction of the Registered Nurse, the LPN provides nursing care, medication administration and as needed, accepts charge nurse responsibilities. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing preferred.2. License/Certifications: Current LPN License required.
