HOSPITALITY AIDE

HCR ManorCare provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy. Responsible for providing resident related (non-hands-on) care and ancillary services in accordance with HCR ManorCare quality standards under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor. Position is applicable prior to successfully receiving certification as a nursing assistant. Performs host/hostess duties in accordance with accepted standards of non-hands-on resident care. Position Requirements

Ability to communicate with residents and staff; Ability to follow directions and to complete assigned tasks. Works with elderly residents, families, and other staff members. Previous experience preferred.

Interested in becoming a Certified Nurse Aide? We are offering training for those interested in joining our team. Work as a Hospitality Aide while attending classes at Glen Oaks Community College starting September 14th! Classes are 4 weeks, then you are able to work as a CNA while you await your state testing. We pay for your class and testing. We ask for a 1 year committment. We currently have full time 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (6pm-6am) available. Want to continue on to nursing school? We offer up to $10,000 tuition assistance!

Must be in good standing at Glen Oaks

Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical and background check

Must be willing to work full-time after class completion for at least 1 year
