The Lafayette area includes sites in Eunice, Crowley, New Iberia, Opelousas, Breaux Bridge, and others located near Lafayette. We are recruiting for professional security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly-regarded team. You must be currently licensed as a Security Officer in the state of Louisiana. Full-time and part-time positions available. Retirees and Veterans are welcome. Medical/Vision/Dental Benefits are available.You will help to prevent and deter crime through: Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences When necessary, performing control procedures Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports Investigating breaches of property You must meet the following requirements: Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills Sound communication skills Professional presentation Ability to work as a team member and solo Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week Reliable transport Active cellphone 21 years of age Clean criminal background Ability to pass a drug screen Must be able to stand for long periods of time, perform routine foot patrols If you have a passion for providing crucial security services and seek a challenging role with an enthusiastic team, IPSC is the company for you.
