POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sr. Project Manager by coordinating and executing various aspects of the Projects Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Work with the Client from the start of each project to ensure understanding the project, scope and vision.
Submit proposals or findings to Supervisor and/or client when needed.
Execute schedule for each project and match appropriate technician to complete the scope of work.
Maintain communication with technicians, Architects, Engineers and Suppliers.
Negotiate rates where applicable.
Review and execute project design changes as well as process change orders
Apply company methodology, enforce standards, minimize exposure to risk, confirm completion by uploading photos of finished projects
Communicate relevant project information to appropriate parties, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion (24 Hours)
Participate in development opportunities including training, seminars, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned
Complete afterhours/On-Call if needed to follow up on night time work being completed.
Daily / Weekly:
Hire and recruit vendors as needed for all associated trades for the project
Assign vendors to work orders and dispatch
Confirm scheduling, pricing and deadlines with vendors
Update Smartsheet and/or Excel Spreadsheets, run reports as needed
Client communication as directed for updates, pricing etc.
Follow up on all 3rd party sites as required with updates, photos, scheduling
Manage smaller projects as directed
Assist Project Manager and Sr. Project Manager with all open projects as directed.
