Busser / Food Runner for Casual Fine Dinning

The Blackbird Restaurant in downtown Asheville is seeking bussers and food runners.

Key Requirements:

Experience in full service restaurant is desired

Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous.

Solid communication skills

Flexible schedule

Task-driven individual

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu

Delivering food to guest quickly and efficiently

Communicating clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff

Clean down tables between customers using dampened cloths and other supplies to ensure a hygienic dining environment

Ensure that the stock area remains adequately stocked with clean linens, silverware, glassware, trays, dishes and more so there is no downtime when serving customers.

Keep the dining area clean, which may include sweeping, mopping, wiping down counters and other duties as required.

This is two different positions that will be scheduled individually.
