The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated team player with 10+ years of experience looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and progressive firm. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful and complex projects primarily in industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, bio pharmaceutical, Department of Defense, healthcare, and higher education.The successful individual will work closely with our business development team and other discipline leads in developing technical proposals and take a proactive role in marketing. This role provides the opportunity to help build, manage, and mentor a strong team of engineering professionals within a collaborative multi-discipline office.

We are looking for a leader who works effectively with all personality types, is interested in developing close relationships with our great clients, and who desires to grow professionally and stay involved in the activities and exciting trends in the industry. The position will involve a mix of technical design and consulting, construction support, and new project scoping and proposal writing. We work in tight-knit teams that support each other and are managed with a healthy work-life balance that is focused on development and caring for the whole person.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related field
• Registration as a Mechanical PE required
• Minimum 10+ years in consulting engineering field
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Leading design team efforts
  • Managing project team for budget and schedule control
  • Oil, Gas, and DoD experience a plus
• Experience in HVAC and plumbing engineering a plus
• Developing proposals, RFPs, and other marketing support activities
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Active industry involvement preferred
