Description PeaceHealth is seeking a Information Security Architect for a Full Time, Day position.JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the alignment of business, operational and security requirements and translation of those requirements into technical identity and access management (IAM) capabilities, in coordination with Information Security leadership. Responsible for setting the technical IAM vision and leading technical IAM projects related to identity lifecycle management, authentication and authorization, access requests, access provisioning, IAM services integration, role and entitlement models, and directory technologies. Manages cross-functional relationships with team members and caregivers/leaders from adjacent departments, such as Information Technology (IT), Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Communications and Operations. Provides mentoring to team members in alignment with their job role and career path. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Leads the research, design, architecture, implementation and security of IAM services for the organization, including IAM solutions, policies, roles, integrations, and identity federation for multi-tier apps on prem, cloud hosted, and SaaS applications.

Leads and / or contributes to technical design sessions with technology partners (internal and external). Works with various applications, infrastructure, and security engineering teams to ensure proper IAM strategies and controls.

Prepares technical design documentation and task-level project plans.

Coordinates and leads projects through all phases of design and implementation within areas of responsibility. Manages stakeholder/partner expectations and communications.

Researches and shares current industry trends, emerging threats, best practices, and cutting- edge techniques required to protect the organization. Leads the implementation of IAM strategies and plans to address current and emerging threats and align with best practices.

Routinely interacts with caregivers and leaders (including senior management) to plan, deliver, and remediate IAM technical objectives across the organization.

Leads the design and implementation of IAM program automation, integrating various information and IAM tools to create fast, risk-based solutions that enable access to data and systems.

Effectively communicates technical IAM issues to technical and non-technical audiences in written and verbal form.

Proactively identifies and develops recommendations related to IAM technology gaps and vulnerabilities in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.

Serves as an advisor and subject matter expert on IAM-related technology issues, projects, or any other PeaceHealth initiative that may have an IAM implication.

Leads and facilitates IAM work groups, including project management, scheduling, coordination, follow up, status reports and report outs.

Leads the development of IAM intellectual capital by making process or procedure improvements, enhancing team documentation, conducting informal team training sessions, and creating new team training documents.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology, or relevant field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience required. EXPERIENCE / TRAINING:  Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in IT, information security, cyber risk management, compliance or a related field required; of which at least 6 years of experience in information security required.  Leadership experience working with project or technical teams required.  Experience leading significant IAM technology efforts for a large, multi-location and multi-tiered environment, preferably in healthcare required.  Healthcare experience preferred.LICENSE / CERTIFICATION: Minimum of two or more relevant information security-related certifications required. Examples include: CISSP, CISA, HCISPP, CCSP, CRISC, CIPP/US, CISM, CGIH, GCFA, GNFA, GPEN, GSEC, CEH and Epic Security Coordinator. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:  Ability to lead/work independently and collaborate across the IAM program.  Excellent project management, written and oral communications skills.  Ability to create and present information in various forms such as textual, graphical and statistical.  Ability to collect and analyze data to guide decision making while under potentially intense pressure to address security objectives and timelines.  Ability to work collaboratively with and lead a broad range of constituencies and respond to their needs and collaborate effectively towards solutions.  Ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical topics to caregivers and leaders across the organization.  Ability to lead matters of high sensitivity and confidentiality with both professionalism and discretion.  Hands-on experience with the design, architecture, implementation and operation of IAM tools, such as identity governance, lifecycle management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), password management, directory services, system/data integrations, etc.  Hands-on experience implementing and operating IAM methodologies related to identify lifecycle management, provisioning, automation, access certification, role-based access control, data management, access management, authentication, password management, etc.  Knowledge of IAM-related regulatory requirements and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST) and how to design/architect solutions that adhere to those requirements.  Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud and security services.
