Accounts Receivable Clerk

DescriptionThis position is an opportunity to grow with a thriving Service company as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional. Robert Half Finance is filling a temporary Accounts Receivable position with a noteworthy benefits package, for a dynamic organization. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role will be based in the Fowlerville, Michigan region and is a full-time employment opportunity. Entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L will be essential for this role.How you will make an impactProcess payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

Supply shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders with information as requested

Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

Post and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accounts

Confirm documents and codes are correct

Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced

RequirementsRelevant experience in accounts receivable

Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

QuickBooks experience required

Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

Great attention to detail

Skilled with ERP systems

AA, BS/BA degree or higher in Accounting or related field
