Description
The Senior Manager of Web Strategy will be responsible for the strategy, creation, and optimization of Avaya web properties, and will work with our Brand, Digital & Demand Generation, Product & Channel Marketing and Corporate Communications, teams to ensure our websites are effectively telling the Avaya story.
You will partner with IT and manage a team of web and content specialists to drive conversion and increase customer acquisition growth by creating compelling and high-converting web experiences.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day ownership of Avaya web properties
Lead overarching strategic vision (strategy, roadmap, and requirements) and execution of all major web projects spanning design, development and optimization
Own web program sales goals to support pipeline, revenue and drive favorable ROI
Responsible for unification of user experience and brand consistency across 10 global web proprieties
Develop scalable and sustainable web operations and project management, set priorities and effectively leverage available resources to drive business impacting results
Manage ongoing site optimization; A / B testing, conversion journey optimization, etc.
Lead web content strategy, web personalization and customer journey programs
Report web performance metrics to communicate demonstrable impact of Avaya websites on the business
Recommend and execute strategies to develop quality traffic to the company s website and online experiences, drive online traffic and conversion to sales
Drive the evaluation and selection of marketing technologies and automation tools that enhance the customer experience
Requirements
Mastery-level (7+ years) Web Strategy experience with a focus on traffic acquisition, conversion optimization and user experience for a B2B lead generation focused website
Expert-level SEO both technical and content
B2B experience a must
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, preferred
Experience with agile development and PM methodologies
Deep understanding of web analytics
Experience with tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager
Excellent project management skills
Keen sense of user experience, design, metrics and testing methodologies
Strong attention to detail and great organizational skills.
Must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills and be able to effectively communicate as the owner of Avaya’s web program
