Customer Service Representative (CSR) - I

Job Description:

The CSR I position interacts with company customers by addressing inquiries, entering orders, and resolving conflicts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Interact with customer via telephone, email, online, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.

Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries.

Collect and accurately enter orders for products for customers.

Fields customer questions and complaints, when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.

Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer problems and concerns.

Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions.

Back up sales staff for customer orders when they are on vacation.

Work closely with other departments to exceed customer service expectations.

Monitor out of stock inventory and report issues to supervisor.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent with at least six months experience in the field of customer service or related field. Previous experience with corporate phone systems or switchboard, preferred.

Ability to stay calm under pressure, remain professional and courteous with customers at all times. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in the use of personal computers, Excel, Word and Outlook software.

DAYS and HOURS: Sunday 7:00am-4:00pm and Monday through Thursday 8:30a-5:30p

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $13.00 to $17.00 /hour
