We are a small Public Adjuster's office looking for a competent Part Time Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. This position will be 3 days per week at 4 hours per day with a starting pay of $15.00/hour. The ideal candidate will be pleasant and professional and able to undertake a variety of office support tasks. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Office Manager and Public Adjuster with their daily tasks
Report insurance claims
Answer the phones
Schedule inspections
Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
Follow up on insurance claims
Skills:
Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
Working knowledge of office equipment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
