Job Title : Scheduler

Position Summary :

The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and monitoring production lines to ensure optimum production and adherence to customer delivery dates and company deadlines.

This position plans production to meet schedule requirements, inventory objectives and major program objectives.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities :

Use SAP system to schedule all production lines and prioritize production runs

Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to schedules and make appropriate adjustments

Establish schedules consistent with master schedule requirements

Maintain MRP product routing data to maintain service performance

Coordinate finished goods inventory and reorders as required to maintain appropriate inventory levels with Demand Planner

Coordinate for product availability with Customer Service Reps

Coordinate for materials with Purchasing

Coordinate Production Schedule with Production Leadership

Coordinate and schedule machinery for Changeovers and Preventive Maintenance

Work with Plant Shipping departments to coordinate shipments as needed

Work with other plants schedulers to optimize production across the division

Work with all departments to ensure communication of relevant information

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

Back-up / Fill-in for other Schedulers

Candidate Requirements :

College Degree or Equivalent

3-5 Years of scheduling experience in an MPS / MRP manufacturing environment

APICS certification preferred.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with people in all levels of the corporation

Proficient computer skills with strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
