Job Description

We are currently seeking a seasoned Consulting Engineer (CE) to join our worldwide team to help drive the adoption and integration of our Automation and DevOps security solutions within our customers’ networks. In this position, you will play a key role in creating systems and solutions that will help drive the value of our next-generation security platform and simplify the effort to deploy these solutions.

Qualifications

The Consulting Engineer will work with our customer-facing sales teams (Systems Engineers and Account Executives), internal stakeholders (Product Management, Support, Marketing & others) to ensure that the solution work is aligned with our market goals and product capabilities and roadmaps. The CE will also produce tools for use to educate the Systems Engineering community, as well as resolve out customer issues. As a worldwide CE, the candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the continuity of information across the globe.

Required Technical Skills:

  • 5+ year of developing and successfully delivering software project for customers

  • Programming experience, ideally in Ansible, Terraform, , Python or Java, but we are open to other experience

  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services, PLUMgrid, OpenStack, AWS CloudWatch

  • Strong experience with SQL and Elastic Technologies (Elasticsearch, Kibana) database technologies. Extra consideration for candidates with experience integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.

  • Experience in data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, or information retrieval.

  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as FLASK, JavaScript & HTML5

  • BS technical degree or equivalent

  • Proven ability to work within small creative teams as well as cross-functional teams

  • Self-motivated

  • Strong communication (written and verbal)

  • Strong presentation skills both internally and externally

  • Very strong organizational skills

  • "Whatever it takes" attitude
