Identify, develop, and deploy improved software engineering processes, along with supporting artifacts (policies, processes, procedures, standards, guidelines, templates, tools, etc.).

Conducts independent quality audits of project functions against documented processes and deliverables against defined specifications.

Incorporate lessons learned from prior deployments and approved changes.

Support efforts to align organizational processes with evolving standards, best practices, and firmwide policies.

Manage / Support maintenance of software quality requirements, including internal audits, quality metrics reporting, management review preparation, and process training.

Apply quality engineering principles to address product and process issues, ensure reliable new and/or changed product development, lead investigations, and provide general support of the quality system.

Work on a wide range of quality problems related to Software engineering quality, Product Quality, and Quality assurance & test strategy.

Be a quality champion and advocate the use of industry best practices for Software Quality across software engineering teams.

Standardize various quality artifacts such as Test Strategy, Test Plan and test completion reports

Govern quality gates by establishing QA entry and exit criteria

Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement remediation measures to mitigate risks.

Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited college/university.

A minimum of five years of experience in either the design, implementation, or support of a Quality Management function.

Proficient in quality management processes for software development and releases.

Experience using quality management tools.

Additional desirable skills: Agile execution, Stakeholder requirements definition, Technical assessments, Requirements management, Configuration management, Verification and validation, Knowledgeable in software lifecycle models, Resource and capacity management, Leadership reporting

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Ability to lead process and quality assurance professionals as part of a diverse team.
